COMPRESSION & BUMPER SPRINGS
BS725
Our standard bumper spring. This spring is described as being shaped like an hourglass measuring 1” in length.
Application of compression and bumper springs as installed on a crib rod.
Welcome to the compression and bumper spring page. Quite often these springs are thought of as fasteners since they are usually placed in the same bag of screws that the crib was assembled originally assembled with. Sometimes these springs are thought of as part of the release system of the moving crib side because they actually slide onto the crib rods. Compression and bumper springs act as the “shock absorbers” on the crib, serving as cushions when the moving side is raised as well as lowered.
