What are the advantages of a bolt in type mattress spring? By virtue of design, the bolt in style gives the crib added stability by bolting the spring frame to the headboard to footboard. Also, once properly installed, upward pressure applied form underneath the crib spring frame will not dislodge it from the brackets, whereas a hook type may become dislodged and cause a safety hazard.
